Consultation

During this free and introductory session (usually a phone call), we will initiate a conversation to understand the individual's communication challenges. SLP will provide recommendations on whether formal speech evaluation and/therapy may be needed and discuss possible treatment plans. This no-obligation session ensures that clients are fully informed about their options and can make educated decisions regarding their speech and language development needs.

Evaluation

A comprehensive assessment designed to identify and understand an individual’s communication strengths and challenges. The evaluation typically involves a series of tests and activities tailored to the individual’s age and specific concerns. These may include assessments of speech clarity, language development, comprehension, social communication, voice quality, and fluency. This information will be used to create a treatment plan and set goals that are individualized to each child’s developmental stage and specific communication needs

Treatment

Speech-language therapy focuses on addressing speech and language delays or disorders, helping children and/or adults develop the ability to express themselves effectively and understand others. Treatment may focus on articulation, language, social skills, fluency or voice. Therapy sessions are engaging and often incorporate play-based activities, visual aids, and interactive exercises to keep clients motivated while learning essential skills.

Family Training

Parents work directly with SLP to tailor interventions that are practical, effective, and easy to incorporate into your home/daily routines. Education is provided to help parents fully understand and be able to advocate for their child’s specific communication needs. This may include teaching techniques to enhance language skills, and providing ongoing guidance to address challenges related to speech, language, or feeding.
